MUSKOGEE, Okla. – Armstrong Bank recently named Megan McHale as Market President in Sallisaw. McHale previously served as Vice President Relationship Banker in Sallisaw. In her new role, McHale will continue to guide the Sallisaw location to ensure overall success and continued growth and profitability.

McHale joined Armstrong Bank as a part-time teller in Muldrow in 2005 while in college and later also served as a CSR and personal banker in Sallisaw and in 2018 was promoted to AVP, Relationship Banker. McHale graduated from Northeastern State University in with a degree in business administration and has also graduated from OBA Consumer Lending School, OBA Commercial Lending School, and ABA Commercial Lending-Foundational School. She currently is a member of the Sallisaw Chamber of Commerce and is actively involved in the Sequoyah County Junior Livestock Show and Diamond Daze.
McHale says her personal motto is “Love what you do, do what you love.”

MUSKOGEE, Okla. – As part of a strategic leadership transition, Armstrong Bank is proud to announce its Board of Directors has named Ryan Quidley as CEO of the organization. Quidley currently serves as President of Armstrong Bank and will retain that title as well.

Quidley has served Armstrong Bank for nearly a decade, excelling in various leadership roles throughout the bank. Prior to working for Armstrong, Quidley graduated from Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas, with a degree in Accounting & Finance. Quidley went on to work as a CPA for Ernst & Young in Fort Worth, Texas, primarily in the Aerospace and Defense, Retail, Oil & Gas, and Financial Services industries. Quidley also holds a Wharton Leadership Certificate and is a graduate of the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
Quidley and his wife, Courtney, have been married for nearly 10 years. They currently reside in Bixby and have two children, Lola (3) and Annie (1).

MUSKOGEE, Okla. – Armstrong Bank recently named Courtney Quidley as Chief Operating Officer for the organization. Quidley, who most recently served as Executive Vice President, Operations, for Armstrong Bank, brings nearly 15 years of financial experience along with a wealth of knowledge in community banking.
“Courtney possesses everything you could ask for in a Chief Operating Officer, including a solid focus on growing the business and vision for the future,” said Aston Hudson, Chairman of the Board for Armstrong Bank. “Through her various roles at Armstrong Bank, she has proven time and time again that she has the customer’s best interest at the forefront of her decisions, and I know she will propel the Bank forward in terms of growth and success.”
An Oklahoma native, Quidley has most recently served Armstrong Bank for more than 10 years. While in high school, she served as a teller for Armstrong Bank at multiple locations during the summer months. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Belmont University. Shortly after, she received a Master of Accounting from Texas Christian University and was licensed as a CPA. Quidley also graduated with honors from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado in 2017.
Quidley and her husband, Ryan, have been married for nearly 10 years. They currently reside in Bixby and have two children, Lola (3) and Annie (1).

MUSKOGEE, Okla. – Armstrong Bank recently promoted three bankers within the organization. Mark Ledbetter, previously Regional President for Norman, Noble, Oklahoma City, Bartlesville, Dewey, and Pawnee, has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Operations. Josh Edge, Market President, has been promoted to Regional President of Norman, Noble, and Oklahoma City locations. Adam Hurst will assume the role of Market President for Norman and Noble locations.

Edge brings more than 15 years of banking experience to his role as Regional President. He most recently served as the Market President for Norman and Noble.
Hurst joined Armstrong Bank in 2021 as a VP, Relationship Banker where he assisted customers in finding the best fit for their individual needs. In his role as Market President, he will lead branch operations, foster customer relationships, and continue driving growth for the organization.

Shelby graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2005 with a degree in agricultural business and finance. Following graduation, he and wife, Cristin, moved to Australia where Shelby earned a Master of Commerce degree from the University of Sydney in 2007. He currently serves as a deacon at the First Baptist Church of Muskogee and as a board member for both the Muskogee Chamber of Commerce and Muskogee County Farm Bureau.

MUSKOGEE, Okla. (April 4, 2023) – Armstrong Bank shareholders have elected Aston Armstrong Hudson to serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors. As a fifth-generation family member, Hudson will lead Armstrong Bank and its 29 locations across Oklahoma and Arkansas in this new role.
“As Armstrong Bank continues to grow and evolve strategically as an organization, we are excited to have now transitioned into the fifth generation of Board Chairmanship through the Armstrong family,” Dr. Sinclair W. Armstrong, Jr., Chairman Emeritus of Armstrong Bank said. “We are a true community bank built on family values of excellence, integrity, service, and stability, and Aston, with her unique and dynamic leadership experience, embodies the characteristics it takes to continue leading our organization well for years to come.”
Prior to banking, Hudson graduated from the United States Military Academy then furthered her education by earning a Master’s in Engineering Management degree from Missouri Science and Technology. Hudson proudly served as an Engineer Officer in the United States Army for more than 8 years, holding various positions of leadership from Platoon Leader to Company Commander of a Combat Engineer Company and serving a 13-month deployment to Afghanistan. After her departure from the US Army, Hudson graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law and passed the Bar Exam shortly thereafter.
Hudson most recently served the bank as Executive Vice President, Corporate Administration, and prior to that, as the bank’s Chief Legal Counsel. She will continue in her Corporate Administration role as she takes on the significant role of Chairman.

IN STRATEGIC REALIGNMENT, VAST BANK, N.A. ANNOUNCES DIVESTITURE OF BIXBY LOCATION TO ARMSTRONG BANK
Vast Bank, N.A. (“Vast Bank”) and Armstrong Bank are excited to announce an agreement to transition ownership of Vast Bank’s Bixby branch to Armstrong Bank. This branch sale is the most recent of a series of similar transactions between Vast Bank and Armstrong Bank in the next step of both banks’ strategic plans.
Armstrong Bank, headquartered in Muskogee, Oklahoma, brings a strong history of personal community banking to many communities across Oklahoma and Arkansas, exemplifying family values and a community focus within each local branch. Bixby customers will become the newest members of this community, where they will receive the personalized touch from banking experts who are neighbors with their customers.

The agreement is expected to be completed by August 2022, subject to regulatory approvals. At this time, all other Vast Bank locations will remain unchanged and under the same ownership of the Biolchini family.
